Comprehensive Sign Plan + Wayfinding, Identification & Donor Signage Design for National Jewish Hospital in Denver Colorado
Project Scope:
Comprehensive sign plan, interior and exterior wayfinding, signage and donor recognition design and implementation. Campus wayfinding analysis & recommendations.
Role: Lead Designer, Project Manager
Collaborated closely with the City of Denver to create a Comprehensive Sign Plan to meet the recently revised CSP requirements.
Side note: Our CSP for this project is used by the City, to this day, as an exemplary plan.
I worked with our firm’s architecture, interior design and landscape teams to provide integrated design concepts for the new building as well as the entire campus exterior. I managed the project from start to finish, working with fabricators through the design process to provide samples to help the client visualize the end product. Review and approve shop drawings for production and ensure the final product met the design intent.
Deliverables:
Wayfinding analysis + recommendations, comprehensive sign plan, location plans, message schedules. Design intent for: Site identification & wayfinding signs, building identification signs, interior signage, interior donor recognition signs.
