Experiential Design for The NCAR Research Aviation Facility in Broomfield Colorado

Project Scope:

Develop and implement a research-inspired environmental branding strategy to elevate the space for staff and to engage and educate visitors. This project included all custom graphics, 3D printed models, custom lighting fixture/sculpture and expansive wall, floor and window graphics.

Role: Designer

We presented three themes for key areas to determine a basis of design to be used throughout the space. I took on the graphics for the executive level of the space and designed the entry lighting feature/fixture as well as all other 3D elements for the space.

Deliverables:

Design Intent for: Entry lighting feature, acoustic ceiling baffles, exterior building identification sign, dimensional text & graphics, printed graphics, die-cut graphics. Location plans.
